Chiropractic Care

Chiropractic care at SpineWerX is centred on understanding the cause of your concern and supporting your spine in the most appropriate way for your goals. Many people choose chiropractic care because it offers a natural, noninvasive approach to easing discomfort and improving mobility. When the spine moves and functions well, the surrounding joints, muscles, and tissues can also function more effectively.
Our Approach to Care
Your first visit focuses on identifying the primary concern that needs attention. Our initial goal is always relief from your primary concern. Care begins by addressing the area involved as soon as it is appropriate to do so. If your goals include longer-term spinal function, posture improvement, or ongoing wellness strategies, we will discuss appropriate complementary options such as exercise guidance and nutrition counselling. Our approach is always collaborative, respectful, and based on clear communication.
Techniques and Therapies
Because each person is unique, we offer a range of chiropractic techniques and additional therapies to customize therapy approaches
- Diversified Technique: This is a blend of classic chiropractic and is a widely used hands-on method that focuses on restoring joint movement with gentle, controlled adjustments.
- Impulse® Instrument-Assisted Technique: A low-force, handheld instrument that delivers electronically controlled precise motion for those who need a softer approach.
- Pettibon and Chiropractic BioPhysics® (CBP®): Structural and postural methods used to guide long-term spinal balance and re-train spinal posture through targeted exercises, traction, and specific corrective strategies when appropriate.
- Acupuncture: An evidence-informed option that may be used to encourage circulation and ease pain and tension in selected cases.
- Spinal Decompression: A manually operated decompression table that provides controlled traction and positioning. Manual controls allow maximum feedback from the patient and helps us keep this therapy more affordable and adaptable.
- Shockwave Therapy: Low frequency acoustic waves used for certain chronic tendon and joint concerns, (i.e Rotator cuff injuries, plantar fasciitis) consistent with the approach taught by Shockwave Canada.
- Ultrasound Therapy: High frequency sound waves used to gently warm soft tissues, normalize circulation in an injury, and support mobility.
- Custom Foot Orthotics: Individually assessed solutions for foot and gait issues that may influence spinal balance.
